It’s no surprise that DiMarco and fellow castmates like Theo James and Sabrina Impacciatore have been sitting front row at the men’s shows during Paris Fashion Week they’re the hottest TV stars of the moment! It was DiMarco’s first time at the European shows, starting with Prada’s fall 2023 show in Milan then following it up with the Dior presentation in Paris. “I was pretty naive coming in, so it’s been pretty exciting seeing the shows without expectation,” says DiMarco. “I’ve never really thought of [the shows] as performances before involving lighting, music and directing. It’s very theatrical. I feel like I’ve learned more about fashion in the past week than my entire life, just through osmosis. It’s been a bit of a crash course.”
At the Dior show, DiMarco took in designer Kim Jones’s new designs, which included easy, neutral separates and a playlist composed by Max Richter. “The whole thing was beautiful. It felt very dreamlike,” says DiMarco. “It was also surprisingly emotional, which I wasn’t expecting. The poem read by Robert [Pattinson] and Gwendoline [Christie] really affected me, as well as the music my friend Atticus coincidentally just made me a Max Richter playlist a few weeks ago.” His favorite looks were the ones that blended casual wear with avant garde finishes. “I don’t even know how to describe my favorite looks,” says DiMarco. “The white blazer with the flower buds on it? The beige life vest T shirt? This sounds like I’m describing a dream I had.”
