Now that her Mexico City jaunt is over, however, Keys will rest for a bit. But come June, she’ll be right back to work with her “Keys to the Summer” tour, which kicks off on June 28th in the U.S. “It’s going to be incredible,” says Keys. “It’s my first 360 [degrees] show ever! The stage is right in the middle of the entire arena. It’s going to be one of the most beautiful, special things I’ve ever done.” We can’t wait. It’s going to be the summer of Margot Robbie. As the star of Greta Gerwig’s Barbie (alongside Ryan Gosling), Robbie—who is Vogue’s July cover star—knows that fans are dying in anticipation ahead of its July 21st release. In her new Life in Looks video for Vogue, Robbie teases what one can expect from the flick. “The clothes are a huge part of this movie, and a huge part of Barbie,” she says. “It’s super superficial—but it’s incredibly profound at the same time. Everything in this movie had to be authentically artificial.”
While we can’t wait to see what she wears to the premiere, Robbie has already had a career filled with memorable movie roles and red carpet looks. In the new video, Robbie looks back on some of her favorites, and shares the stories behind them. First, there were the vintage Herve Leger bandage dresses she wore in 2013’s The Wolf of Wall Street in which she played Naomi. “Her sexuality was her currency,” Robbie says of the character. Then there was her turn as the psychotic Harley Quinn in 2016’s Suicide Squad. “I had all these tattoos, including one that says ‘Lucky You’ right above her crotch,” says Robbie. “I actually pitched the studio [the sequel] Birds of Prey, whilst we were shooting the first Suicide Squad I really wanted to see Harley in a girl gang.” She also has fond memories of the resourceful looks she wore as Tonya Harding in I, Tonya. “We were replicating looks as closely as we could to the real Tonya Harding,” says Robbie. “She didn’t have money and she would sew her own costumes we took that all into consideration.”
