Cast your vote. It’s almost summer and that calls for some bold, reinvigorating outfit inspiration. Emily Ratajkowski is, of course, on it. Over in Miami, Ratajkowski provided early aughts Fast and Furious style while at Grand Prix. The model nailed motocross aesthetics through playful looks that included corsets, exposed thongs, and backless dresses. There were also some more formal outfits on the ’gram this week. Musician Johnny Suh attended the Gold House Gala, an LA event that champions Asian Pacific creators, in a formal suit. For her performance at the Coronation Concert, Katy Perry shone in a golden custom Vivienne Westwood gown. The Cannes Film Festival kicks off today and the excitement is building down at La Croisette for the next fortnight of red carpet action. But perhaps just as captivating as the couture gowns and jewels are the ensembles seen in transit, as stars arrive at Nice airport often sporting Riviera inspired ensembles. Of course Elle Fanning’s arrival outfit serves as evidence that Cannes always delivers when it comes to fashion, even at the airport.
As she arrived at the airport in Nice before heading to Cannes, the American actor – who stars as Catherine the Great in Hulu’s The Great – was spotted in an off duty look that’s perfect for summer in South of France. She wore a cream sheer knitted T shirt, white high waisted tailored trousers, white leather flip flops, and classic black circle frame sunglasses. Just a mere few hours after arriving, Hollywood stylist Samatha McMillen has already shared an Instagram post of Fanning in one of her outfits for her promotional duties. She wears a powder blue figure hugging slip dress with a plunging neckline by Khaite and a matching scarf looped around her neck. Fanning accessorized the dress with gold Cartier jewellery pieces, as well as a pair of heeled sandals by Maison Ernest.
